Pear Tree Cottage Holiday Apartments

The Cottage itself was built in the mid 16th century as a Yeoman farmer's dwelling and over the centuries has seen the effects of changes made by Georgian, Victorian and finally twentieth century owners, all of which have added to its great character and period charm. Guests' accommodation consists of three bedrooms, all having en-suite bathrooms with bath or shower or both. Naturally, all rooms have the usual TV and beverage trays and individual luxury furnishings. Access to the house is available at all times when guests may use the comfy sitting room. The whole house is centrally heated, so that along with antique furniture, fresh flowers, beamed ceilings and flagstoned floors we have tried to combine the charm of the old with the comfort of the present.

Breakfasts are served in our beamed Dining Room, on separate tables, and our menu provides for traditional English or Vegetarian tastes, with cereals and fresh fruit in abundance, served from the 18th century dresser.
