Situated in the heart of Stratford upon Avon, the Stratford Play house is ideally placed as the premier hire venue serving the local community.
With a large, flexible auditorium that is equipped to high professional standards we are home to a number of local organisations producing Drama, Music and Exhibitions.
As part of Stratford Town Trust a major part of our work is focused on the local area, providing a comfortable air conditioned space that may be hired for a variety of purposes by charitable and educational organisations, commercial business and individuals.

The Old Civic Building has 2 entrances – one is the main side entrance that goes through the courtyard from the Rotherstreet car park – this leads directly into our lobby/box office.
The front of the building also has an entrance that faces Rotherstreet.
Parking
We have lots of parking options in the area – We recommend the “Rother Street Arthouse Carpark” with over 120 spaces and Disability spaces that lead you to our entrance side door.

Access
We have flat access from the side door and can accommodate wheelchair users who would like to remain in their wheelchair or who would like to transfer to a front row seat, please inform box office when making a booking.
