Museum Lates - From Sketch to Street

Have an exclusive peek behind the curtain as our Collections Team showcase the fascinating work they do to keep the Museum running!

Join us after hours for the exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of car design, based around the Museum’s ground-breaking exhibition ‘From Sketch to Street’. This insightful Museum Lates event will include exclusive after hours access to the Museum and 'From Sketch to Street' exhibition space, as well as a brand new evening talk: Ciao Inghilterra! How British cars got Italian style.

The ‘From Sketch to Street’ exhibition showcases the creative and technical processes behind iconic and innovative vehicles across Britain’s motor manufacturing past through five key themes: interior design, exterior design, functional design, materials and trim, and future of design. Visitors will be able to unpick the processes and people behind the cars and see how their own design ideas could shape the future.

Don’t miss this chance to gain a unique insight into the process of car design, and listen to a fascinating talk on the evolution of British automotive style.
