At the Riverside Venue
This August, The Riverside Venue is the place to be, with a fantastic programme of free, family-friendly activities taking place in our beautiful riverside garden throughout the month.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing afternoon or a fun-filled family day out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy:
🎬 Sundays – Movies on the Big Screen
7pm
Sit back, relax and enjoy family favourites under the open sky in our picturesque gardens.
🗺️ Mondays – Summer Treasure Hunt
All Day
Explore the grounds at your own pace as you search for hidden park landmarks in our fun family treasure hunt.
🧸 Wednesdays – Teddy Bears’ Picnic (12pm-1.30pm) & Family Music Bingo (2pm-3pm)
Enjoy a teddy bear themed craft session in the gardens, where children can get creative with their favourite teddy by their side. Lunch and refreshments will be available to purchase from the bar (please note that outside food and drink is not permitted).
We advise you check with the venue regarding any changes to their opening time / availability before leaving home
