Hands-On Holiday Clubs

Breakfast Drop-Off 8am to 10am

We will be offering an early drop-off slot from 8am to 10am. Supervision will be provided on each day from 8am until the main activities begin at 10am. A healthy, nutritious, breakfast will be provided between 8am and 9.30am. We’ll even have some classroom-based activities, such as colouring to entertain our visitors while they’re having their breakfast.

Main Activities

All our activities run from 10am-3pm. A mid-morning snack, drinks and a hot lunch will be provided. Dietary requirements will be catered for.

Each day will consist of several activities, including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths) topics, crafts and physical activity. An overview of these activities are below.

Day 1

Day 1 will start with a fun and informative tour of the Museum. After that, visitors will spend some time researching car design, to see if there's anything they'd like to incorporate into their own LEGO creations before building hybrid cars out of bricks. Finally, we'll end the day with some LEGO mosaic design, the perfect activity for those worn out by non-stop building.

Day 2

Day 2 will start with a fun and informative tour of the Museum. After that, visitors will be taking a closer look at our Land Rovers, to see what gives them the ability to tackle even the toughest terrains imaginable, before using what they've learned to create their own off-road cars out of LEGO bricks. Finally, it's time for our visitors to put their heads together for a team activity, building bridges out of bricks, to see whose bridge is strongest.

All children aged 7-14 are welcome, and we can welcome sibling groups, even if one child is over 14 years old. The club has a maximum of 16 places per day. The club needs to fill a minimum of 5 places per week to go ahead. If we do not have enough places filled, we will inform you by 14 December. Preference will be given to those who can attend both days.

HAF Funded Places

These clubs are part of HAF (Holiday, Activities and Food) Club, a food programme run by Warwickshire County Council for families whose children are in receipt of benefits-tested free school meals. If you are eligible for the HAF programme, and wish to book a place for your child in either of our clubs, please contact us via community@britishmotormuseum.co.uk or on 01926 895238.
