In a fifty minute long poetic performance, illustrated by a beautiful textile map, the show takes you on a journey down the River Avon, along banks  “..where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows”. Your journey will brim with wildlife and civil war battles, thinkers and travelers, anglers and amblers. There will be glimpses of modern life lived by the river, woven with memories of the past and echoes of the playwright who made it famous around the world.
