Children under 2 go free and don’t need tickets.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 4 children.
Early bird and advance ticket holders should arrive at the Luminarium 10 minutes before the time shown on their ticket. There may still be a short queue before entry.

Reconnect with a child-like awe and wonder as you explore this winding maze of paths and soaring domes. Feel pure delight at the beauty of the light coming through bathing the space in colour.

Created to celebrate 30 years of Architects of Air, designed to be brighter and more colourful than ever before.

Once inside, you’ll be able to find your own way of passing through. Some like to follow the map and explore, others like to find a pod and sit and enjoy the ambience. Explore in the way that feels natural to you.

SEN sessions

Our first slot on Friday 28 August at 10am is for those who require a quieter experience.
We have limited the capacity to provide more space and a more relaxed atmosphere inside.

Useful Information

Your Luminarium session will last 25 minutes to allow as many people as possible to experience the Luminarium
Please keep to the paths inside, as the plastic is delicate
You’ll need to take your shoes off before going into the Luminarium, please bring socks if you’d rather not be barefoot
Running is not permitted inside
Prams and pushchairs are not allowed inside the Luminarium, we ask that you leave them outside with a member of staff
Take photos! But don’t forget to allow yourself some time to fully relax and explore the space too, and respect other visitors privacy when taking and sharin
