The Shakespeare Service
The Shakespeare Service at Holy Trinity Church begins. The highlight? The Quill Ceremony, where the Quill is placed in Shakespeare’s hand above his grave. The service also features the time-honored Shakespeare Sermon, a moment of reflection on the legacy of the world’s greatest playwright.
The Shakespeare Service with the Shakespeare Sermon preached by Bishop Rob Gillion (previously Bishop for the Arts) and the first performance of the 2026 Shakespeare Anthem. The new quill is placed on Shakespeare’s funeral monument.
